By using ArXiv TLDR (the “Service”), including the website at arxivtldr.org and the Chrome browser extension, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ArXiv TLDR provides AI-generated summaries of research papers hosted on arXiv (arxiv.org). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to arXiv or Cornell University. Summaries are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions — always refer to the original paper for accuracy.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Use automated tools to circumvent usage limits
• Use the Service to infringe any intellectual property rights
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data

4. Free and Pro Plans

Free users may generate a limited number of summaries per day/week as described on the pricing page. Pro subscribers receive unlimited summaries and additional features for a monthly fee.

Subscription fees are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at support@arxivtldr.org.

5. Intellectual Property

The ArXiv TLDR website, Chrome extension, and generated summaries are owned by ArXiv TLDR. The underlying research papers belong to their respective authors and are made available under arXiv's terms. Summaries generated by our service are provided for personal, non-commercial use.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. AI-generated summaries may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArXiv TLDR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
