- Free: 5 full summaries per week (15 per week with a free account). Basic ($5/mo): 50 full summaries per week. Pro ($19/mo, or $99/yr): unlimited summaries plus 'Ask this paper' AI Q&A. The one-liner TLDR, title, authors and abstract are always free on every paper.
- How do I cancel?
- From your account menu, click 'Manage Subscription' to open the Stripe billing portal. You can cancel anytime and keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
- Can I sign in without a Google account?
- Yes. ArXiv TLDR supports both email/password sign-up and Google OAuth. Your subscription is tied to your email regardless of how you sign in.
- Where do the summaries come from?
- Every TL;DR is generated by a state-of-the-art LLM from the paper's title and abstract on arXiv. We cache summaries so the same paper doesn't get re-summarized.
